At Profenco, energy saving means reducing energy consumption without compromising product quality. Saving energy is important for the environment and can also bring significant financial benefits.

When it comes to energy use, prevention is better than cure. Profenco will always consider whether processes can be made to use less energy by reducing losses. However, these losses are not always avoidable and our challenge is to recover them as effectively and efficiently as possible and reuse them elsewhere in the process. We take a helicopter view approach. Energy that cannot be re-used directly in the line can often be put to good use elsewhere in the plant.
